The incident happened around 7:10 p.m. along the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue near Crowley Lane.
Police located one person who was suffering from a stab wound. They were taken to a local hospital by ambulance; their condition remains unknown.
The suspect involved in the incident was still on the loose as of 7:15 p.m. They were described in police dispatches as a Hispanic male who fled from the scene down Crowley Street.
South-bound Pennsylvania Avenue was briefly closed to traffic in the area, with vehicles diverted onto Missouri Street while police processed the scene.
