A Vacaville man who went missing while en route to a college in Southern California has been located and is safe, according to a police official.
The man was initially reported missing after he left the local area to drive to his transfer school, the California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly) in Pomona. He recently graduated from Solano Community College, where public safety officials posted a social media bulletin asking the public for help locating him.
A Vacaville Police Department spokesperson confirmed to Solano NewsNet that the agency has been working on the case since Thursday. The man was immediately entered into a missing person's database, the police spokesperson said.
On Tuesday, the police spokesperson said the man had been located safely in Southern California.
