Vallejo kidnapping triggers county-wide police bulletin

The Solano County Sheriff’s Office issued a county-wide law enforcement bulletin after a person was kidnapped in Vallejo on Thursday.

The alleged crime happened in the area of Maple Street and Georgia Street around 6:30 p.m., according to a law enforcement source familiar with the matter.

A male reportedly chased down a female on the street, then pulled her into a black Chevrolet sports utility vehicle, the source said.

Police were able to get a license plate from the vehicle and later located the victim in Vallejo. The suspect was still not apprehended as of early Thursday evening.
