Emergency officials have lifted two evacuation orders that were issued after a wind-whipped vegetation fire burned dangerously close to several homes in rural Winters on Wednesday.
The fire was reported around 3 p.m. along the 8600 block of Winters Road just south of the city.
Around 130 acres burned in the fire, according to information from CAL FIRE. Homes along Wintu Way and Campos Lane were briefly evacuated due to the fire, the Solano County Sheriff’s Office said.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear as of Wednesday afternoon.
